About

The Southwest Virginia Trans Wellness Fund launched in April 2023. In its first two years, the fund was supported by 100% of royalties from sales of the book Living Queer History: Remembrance and Belonging in a Southern City. Today, the fund continues solely through the support of generous donations from the community.

The fund is now administered by Ladies and Gents of the Blue Ridge – Transgender Alliance, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. For more information on Ladies and Gents of the Blue Ridge, see their website here.
